Next Committee Meeting - 11 June 2013
Welcome to the Albury Wodonga Orienteering Club. The aim of the club is to provide an opportunity for members of all ages to compete in the growing sport of orienteering.
Sunday 2 June - Interclub No 3, Connorton map near Wagga
levelled the score at the last event so we need a good result at Connorton
to regain the lead.
Sunday 16 June - Inaugural AWOC Duo Championships
Be the first winner of this exciting event, which features 2 mountain bike legs (12 & 7 kms) plus one foot leg of about 2.3km. The foot navigation is easy-medium, in undulating terrain, suitable for running in mountain bike shoes. Of course if you are a 'specialist' you can just compete on mountain bike or foot. A longer foot option of about 4.5km with a few harder controls is available.
