The aim of the club is to provide an opportunity for members of all ages to compete in the growing sport of orienteering. Upcoming Events Sunday 2 June - Interclub No 3, Connorton map near Wagga Waggaroos
levelled the score at the last event so we need a good result at Connorton
to regain the lead. Sunday 16 June - Inaugural AWOC Duo Championships Be the first winner of this exciting event, which features 2 mountain bike legs (12 & 7 kms) plus one foot leg of about 2.3km. The foot navigation is easy-medium, in undulating terrain, suitable for running in mountain bike shoes. Of course if you are a 'specialist' you can just compete on mountain bike or foot. A longer foot option of about 4.5km with a few harder controls is available. Membership Please post your completed membership form to PO Box 461 Albury NSW 2640. A club membership form can be downloaded here. Join or renew early to ensure that you receive all the club information including newsletters. Compete Safely! Committee Meetings If you feel that you want to have a say in the running of the club, ordinary members are entitled and welcome to come along to the AWOC Committee meetings. These take place on the second Tuesday of each month from 8pm at various venues. Feel free to come along and have your input into the running of our club.
